Superfoods List and Fundamentals

I will start with where my passion is, with superfoods; which are native to the wonderful parts of this world and have been on the daily menu for native people around the world for thousands of years and more recently find their way into everyday life of all longevity and health conscious people. What are superfoods? what make some foods super you may ask? I guess everyone defines superfoods differently, to me they are plants that are above all else and provide much more than just a basic nutritional content. They are powerful, spiritual, intelligent, protective, nourishing, enhancing, strengthening, balancing, beautiful, full of antioxidants and other essential nutrients; they are truly longevity and anti-aging foods. The word superfoods sounds like as if it was describing somethings out of this world, but chances are, you may have some form or type of a superfood right in your backyard.

Because of its unique and diverse topography, Peru provides a home for many medicinal and culinary herbs, plants and superfoods that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
